We have teeth!!!

Hallelujah we finally have 2 bottom teeth. There a rough few days last week. Hollyn is not really a fussy baby but man I wanted to cry a few times last week while she was fussing non stop all night and Neil was still at work!!! Okay so maybe I just needed to whine a bit.

Had our 6 month ck up today. Hollyn is 14 lbs 12 oz and moved up to the 25th percentile in weight. (finally we have been at 20 forever!!) and her height is 25 1/2 inches and in the 45th percentile.

She wants to crawl so badly and is rolling all over the place and can sit up by herself for a short time.

Today is her 1/2 bday.....time has really flown by

My Maddie is growing up too fast too. God help me she is already talking about boys and has a crush. What to do how about boarding school for all girls that might work right?

She is still a softball fanatic and her pitching lessons are helping so much she is doing great.

Hi to all it has been soooo busy lately and facebook has taken over my life....so I rarely blog anymore.

Hollyn is doing really well, she wants to crawl so badly. She just gets on her back and pushes to where she wants to go it is so funny, she ended up under my desk this morning while i was on the phone. lol

She is sitting up longer and longer by herself these days. She is teething hopefully we have teeth this month....

Maddie is still doing well at softball we may have a fall ball team hopefully. She is doing great at school... now for some cute pics of Hollyn this morning she found the polka dots on her baby legs and thought they were hilarious....

feeling a little down....

I feel like the worst mom ever. Hollyn has been fighting sleep out of the blue for the last few nights. She used to just curl up with a blanket on her face and off she went. Now only at bedtime she fights me. It gradually gets worse as the naps go thru the day. Morning no problem, lunch pretty easy, 5pm getting rough and bedtime OH MY!!! what to do? I am laying in bed typing this listening to her snub in her sleep in the bassinet.. It really breaks my heart.
I am the worst mom according to Maddie also this week since all of her friends got to go to Taylor Swift in Shreveport and she didn't. Honestly I didn't know anything about it or I probably would have taken her. Last night we had Maddie night complete with her choice of dinner, movies and popcorn, and we kicked daddy to the couch and the girls took over my bed.

What is wrong with me. My kids are turning on me......Hopefully next week will be better. Maybe Miss Hollyn is cutting teeth? They both are sick maybe this is what the culprit is.

Wha wha wha I am such a cry baby.....their is always next week. lol

Dylan's first football game

Dylan played in Relaint Stadium last weekend. Not to be partial but he played the best of anyone on the field. Had some really great tackles. He even took down the quarterback ( ithink) and set his team up for a winning touchdown. Go Dylan!!! He rocks. I really love that kid. Wish he was closer to us, we are missing so much of his life with him far away.

Hollyn was a trooper. Could not have asked for a better travel baby. She only cried once on the way down there, bottle, then back to sleep. She did awesome on the way home too. Thank you baby einstein.

Maddie stayed home this trip( she hates that drive) and she had a better offer to spend the weekend with her bff on her bday. so all worked out for her.

My little HOllyn is growing up so quickly. She wants to crawl and sit up so badly. I give her a few more weeks. Teething is in full swing. Hopefully we have a tooth by halloween!!!

Maddie is loving middle school. She actually is excited to get up and go this year. Tonight we are going to Zapatos for Neils 15 year class reunion. Can you say Margaritas and chicken salad....This will only be the 2Nd time I have left HOllyn (well third Wilma kept her for a few hours when I got my hair cut a few weeks ago) but 2nd for an extended amount of time. I don't know if I can eat and function without a baby in my lap......How do you do that again.

I am kind of selfishly looking forward to a little adult time and a kid free break.

BLOGGING IS HARD

Well Neil told me to spruce up our blog and I have been at it for hours. Finally got the background to change and now I am calling it a night. Kudos to everyone with really cute blogs. I don't think I have it in me to figure it out. lol good night.

first day of school

Maddie had a great first day of middle school. She liked changing classes and everyone loved her zebra binder we made, her zebra and boa bag and her zebra lunchbox customized with her name. It was a hit!!! she came home so excited Hoping today goes as well. also for all the facebook peeps we have the girls photo session on there. They are sooo cute!!

BACK TO SCHOOL

I of course waited until the week before school to start school clothes shopping. God bless Wilma for going with me too........It was so frustrating nothing in Maddie's size and what is out there is for weather in Alaska. HELLO we live in Texas where it is 95 until October/Novemeber. Well we finally made a little headway at Target. At least we got enough outfits for the first week of school. Poor Maddie, I hope we find her some stuff. I feel like I really have let her down this year with clothes. It has been so busy this summer and it just kind of crept up on us.

Tried jeans on for the first time since the baby. Not too bad almost back to my prepregnancy jeans. I was a 27 before and I am in 28s and not really all that upset about it for some reason. I have just decided to love my new body (yeah right) workout try to eat reasonably well and what happens happens. I am done obsessing about my weight for now. (only 5 more pounds to go then I will stop obsessing lol)

Neil and HOllyn didn't get any back to school clothes maybe another day.

If all works out well we are going to reliant stadium next weekend to see Dylan play his first game. Wish us luck in the travels it will be a long weekend on the road with a baby and tired kids on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!
