CONTRACTIONS, CONTRACTIONS

I went to dr. this morning only to find out NO CHANGE!!! Well I kind of expected that since they moved my appt up and it hasn't even been a week since I went. I am still a 2 50% effaced and she really thinks if I don't over do it I will make it to the April 9th date...
Is it more nerve racking to know the date than the unknown? With Maddie I just knew every contraction was The One>>>> well with this one I just know it is probably nothing since it isn't the 9th HA!
I do hope that Miss Hollyn hangs in there so my doctor can do the actual delivery. Not real crazy about the other dr in her office he is the one I had so much trouble with that delivered Maddie.
Any way I go back on Monday for instructions on what to eat next week, probably chicken broth or something really yummy like that.
Maddie was so excited about my dr shirt she packed her Big Sister shirt in her back pack just in case, she is too cute.
well wish us all luck next week...I am SOOOOO NERVOUS. I guess because I have already done it so I know what to expect. LOL

dr update

I am back from dr. Only 2 more weeks if I can make it. We are scheduled for sure on April the 9th and have to be at hospital at 6am to check in. Man that is early but maybe I will have a beautiful baby by lunch. I was almost a 2 and 50% effaced. Hope I make it to the 9th. I tested positive for group b strep. I am a little depressed about that but my dr says it will be okay as long as I get the antibiotic while in labor......
keep praying for us, it is getting close!!!!!!!!

Well I thought I posted this last week but I guess I forgot to save it( one of the perks of pregnancy...forgetfullness ha) Anyway, went to dr last week I was dialated to a 1 and 25% effaced already. My Dr said if all progresses in the next 2 weeks and I get to a 2 I can have her on April 9th!!! Very anxious for my appt tomorrow, I have been having some contractions and pain so we will see if I am making any progress. The next appt after tomorrow we are having one more sonogram. I will keep everyone posted. I am so ready to see this little girls smiling face.
Dylan got to come in for a few days. Neil and Dylan caught a ton of fish so next time he is in we have to have a fish fry or shrimp boil. It was really good to see him, hope he gets to come in for Easter to see the baby....
Maddie played in her first softball tourn for this season. THey did really well holding their own we played in a select tournament and we were the only league team there. She has been going to a batting coach everyweek to help her batting and it really seems to be helping. She loves softball, I hope she sticks with it thru school and can get a scholarship----wishful thinking.
Hoping Dylan gets a football scholarship also, wouldn't that make life easy?
I will post any updated news tomorrow after my appt. I am going to home to spring clean my house tonight and get my bag packed, we still have to clean out my car and put in the carseat. Babies bag is ready to go. We are almost ready. Just need to get my hair cut and nails done before the big day. (hopefully anyway)

DIVA PARTY

It is finally done!!! Maddie's 9th bday party was a blast. I am exhausted but the girls had so much fun. They entered on the red carpet to awaiting paparazzi, had a fashion show, dressed up, had popcorn and hotdogs and movie candy, won Oscars, had some of the cutest cake ever, and watched "Beverly HIlls Chihuahua".........How fun.........

The girls partied the night away til around 10pm and we had to shut the party down or they would still be going.

Oh to be 9 again......

I really think Maddie had one of the best parties she has had so far.

This was her last horrahh as an only girl....LOL

LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN....SORT OF

I just got back from the dr. this afternoon. 33 weeks and counting. I somehow have managed to gain 6 pounds in 2 weeks and I am mortified.....How does this happen? Well, according to my dr. 2 pounds are from swelling......... I get to wear those really cute support hose for the rest of my pregnancy. Is it my age? I don't quite remember this part during Maddie's pregnancy.
So for a running total of weight gain I am up to 20lbs total. My Lord I can't even imagine that I can get any bigger but I am sure there is a ways to go. I go back in 2 weeks to start my weekly visits ( she changed her mind this was supposed to start next week). Then I will be down to only 4 weeks left to actual due date.
Maybe Hollyn will be ready a week or 2 early for an Easter baby......I am sure she will come when she is ready.
I am really anxious. We have our last shower on March 15th!!! That is exciting.
Our other shower for my Dad's side of the family was this past Sat. It was really nice, we got tons of things and it was really great to see all of my cousins that live out of town. My grandmother had 7 out of her 9 grandkids here. WOW, that is an accomplishment. We are all never together at the same time. It was lots of fun.
Maddie's Diva party is this weekend so I have lots of planning to do in the next 2 days...
