motherhood the second time around

Well things are definatly different this time. Maddie has kept us so busy and on the go. Hollyn has already been to ball fields twice and we have another game tonight. I forgot how much stuff you have to haul around just for a little bitty tiny person!

She is such a good baby, she rarely cries and other than waking up for feedings she sleeps at night. Feedings well I am trying to fulfill my goal of breastfeeding for at least 4 weeks and I hit a wall last night. Almost quit this morning but I think I am going to work thru it for at least a few more weeks, may supplement with some bottles in between. I just am getting really worn down with her here with me all day feeding at work and then her feeding constantly when we are home. Little girl likes to eat.......Kind of like her daddy ha!!

She is so sweet I could really just eat her up. Maddie has been such a great help. She is always right there to do whatever and so far loves having a little sister. Her main job is keeping up with the diaper bag wherever we go.

Hollyn has her 2 week dr appt tomorrow morning. Kind of excited to see how much she weighs then back to hospital to redo her hearing test. Apparently they were too busy in the nursery dressing her up in her hats and bows that they forgot to chart her results. ( by the way we were told she passed also on her discharge papers, so i am not too worried.)

Off to another ball game this evening and she has her first full day of softball tourn. on Saturday. Wish me well, kind of nervous about this one. All day in public............I will definatly have to find a close place to park lol.

Hollyn!!!!!!!!!!

Well she made her debut on 4/8/09 at 9:09 pm weighing in at 6lbs and 9oz and 20 inchs long. She is so precious. Maddie just loves her to pieces already.

we have a date!!!

I went to my last dr's appt today, I was dialated to a 3, had some pretty constant contractions last night about every 7min. apart. They weren't painful though so I am thinking braxton hicks. She moved me up to Wed. at 10 am to be induced. I hope I make it to Wed. The dr. I don't really like is on call today and tomorrow. Well wish us all luck and hopefully Hollyn stays put for another day in a half. I will post pics as soon as possible. I am a nervous wreck!!!

Pregnancy=ocd

For most of the family you are all aware how anal I am about cleaning our house. It is becoming an obsession in my brain since Hollyn will be here next week. I keep making the same lists over and over. Saturday we will be spring cleaning AGAIN!!! Neil thinks that I am completly nuts but I do not want our baby to think I don't keep a clean house and God forbid she lay close to a floor with dust or shoe dirt right?
I keep thinking of the visitors and mopping after they leave, this is how obsessed I am. My Dad, father in law and brother are all avid cowboy boot wearing men and they leave the worst scuff marks on our hard wood so I have been online all morning looking for scuff removal remedies. This is nuts, why am I so obsessed with our floors?
I can just see Wilma's face reading this and laughing at me............
Well hopefully they just take them off to save my sanity ha!!!! or wear those cute booties that cover shoes right? I have completly lost it!

I go back to dr on Monday and if no huge change we are on schedule for Thursday April 9th. She will make it in time for Easter. I have got to get Maddie's Easter stuff this weekend so she has a regular Easter.

Well I really think this post is more of a frustrated pregnant women than anything else. It is totaly random.

We got another sonogram picture of the baby this week and she looks just like Maddie's baby pictures, same chubby cheeks, nose and eyes. I am really anxious to see if she has my blue eyes or Neil's brown eyes.

Only 8 more days.............................
