What a weekend

Maddie went to the ASA girls state softball tourn. this weekend in Longview, TX. We walked away with 4th place. Not to bad there wer 17 teams there and most were stacked or all star teams. Our girls hung in there with the best. We got beat out by the team that beat us for first in our district (Maddie's lady dragons got 2nd in district).
It was pretty fun but HOT! HOllyn had her first overnight stay in a hotel and she loved it. SHe slept thru the night while we were there and she would just laugh when we would walk in our room. It was a brand new hotel so it was very clean and the beds were great( most hotel beds are horrible)
Hollyn cheered on Maddie's team all weekend, we ate well, swam and played some ball. Go Lady Dragons. Maddie I am very proud of you, you had some good hits and some good plays.

where does the time go?

well it has been a while since I have posted anything. Two kids really keep me busy. Maddie's ball is about to wind down unless we play some summer tournaments. Hollyn is such a trooper she is the best baby to be lugged around from daylight to dark. SHe has really doubled in size. She is already growing up too quickly. Maddie's last day of elementary is Thursday. I think I will cry next year she starts 4th grade at the middle school. Seems like yesterday I was dropping her off for the first day of Kindergarten and I cried all day. AWWW she is really trying to be a better pitcher these days. so far this season she has gotten to pitch about 5 innings.
