BLOGGING IS HARD

Well Neil told me to spruce up our blog and I have been at it for hours. Finally got the background to change and now I am calling it a night. Kudos to everyone with really cute blogs. I don't think I have it in me to figure it out. lol good night.

first day of school

Maddie had a great first day of middle school. She liked changing classes and everyone loved her zebra binder we made, her zebra and boa bag and her zebra lunchbox customized with her name. It was a hit!!! she came home so excited Hoping today goes as well. also for all the facebook peeps we have the girls photo session on there. They are sooo cute!!

BACK TO SCHOOL

I of course waited until the week before school to start school clothes shopping. God bless Wilma for going with me too........It was so frustrating nothing in Maddie's size and what is out there is for weather in Alaska. HELLO we live in Texas where it is 95 until October/Novemeber. Well we finally made a little headway at Target. At least we got enough outfits for the first week of school. Poor Maddie, I hope we find her some stuff. I feel like I really have let her down this year with clothes. It has been so busy this summer and it just kind of crept up on us.

I also bought some back to school clothes LOL
Tried jeans on for the first time since the baby. Not too bad almost back to my prepregnancy jeans. I was a 27 before and I am in 28s and not really all that upset about it for some reason. I have just decided to love my new body (yeah right) workout try to eat reasonably well and what happens happens. I am done obsessing about my weight for now. (only 5 more pounds to go then I will stop obsessing lol)

Neil and HOllyn didn't get any back to school clothes maybe another day.

If all works out well we are going to reliant stadium next weekend to see Dylan play his first game. Wish us luck in the travels it will be a long weekend on the road with a baby and tired kids on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!

GETTING READY FOR BACK TO SCHOOL

I am kind of crafty if I do say so myself. Maddie has been wanting all zebra print school stuff. So I am having her a book bag made with her name on it (hopefully it gets here today.) I ordered her a metal zebra print lunchbox customized with her name and for the grand finale...........I bought a regular binder and customized it myself.....TADA

her bag will have a green boa around the top!!! How cute is it???

Neil did a fantastic job

Neil got the yard all mowed, edged weedeated, blew the patios off and remulched my flower beds for Hollyn's 4 month pics to be done outside..........well it's raining today!!! Ughhh hopefully it has blown over by this evening so we can get them done or maybe my sister in law can take them inside again. They would be so pretty outside though. My sister in law is having surgery tomorrow so if we don't get them done today it's gonna be a while.

Just wanted to show everyone Neil's hard work. Gotta love him sometimes.

"the 30 day shred"

I have to thank my cousin Amber for telling me about this last night. Looks like The 30 day shred workout video is gonna get those last 10lbs off!!! Hopefully anyway. I have to get into my jeans by fall...Who really thought that in 9 months you put in on with out a thought in the world and then after the baby it's all you think about. The first 20 fell off the first week. Now I am up and down with these last few pounds!!! UGGGGGH

anyway on the more exciting things....Hollyn's high chair came in yesterday. It is so cute. Looks just like her carseat, stroller and playpen. Love it.....

I put some pictures of Hollyn on her for all to adore, she is so stinkin cute. She wants to be so big. SHe loves to try to stand up and wants to sit up so bad she gets mad at herself. She also gets mad cause when she tries to crawl she doesn't go anywhere.

Precious little girl. Maddie just got back from vacation to Branson with my aunt. She is worn out. Both the girls are taking a nap together on the couch. Isn't peace and quite nice???

Well maybe for a moment hehe I hear Hollyn waking up.........
